Henry Marshall FRACP, PhD is a thoracic physician and clinical researcher at the University of Queensland Thoracic Research Centre and Department of Thoracic Medicine at The Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane. His clinical and research interests focus on lung cancer screening and early detection and smoking cessation. He is an investigator on the International lung screening trial (ILST) which has recruited 4000 participants in Australia and Canada. He is an NHMRC Emerging Leader and holds an investigator grant to design and build a tailored smoking cessation smartphone app using artificial intelligence. He is also supported by a Queensland Advancing Clinical Research Fellowship and a MetroNorth HHS Clinical Research Fellowship.
