- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
I am employed as Oncology Nurse Practitioner in Albury Wodonga Health since November 2011. I have 22 years of experience in the palliative care setting, including being an independent Nurse Practitioner in Belgium. I gained endorsement as Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner in Victoria in 2011. Besides my full time role as ONP, I am a mum to twin teens and I am a freelance blog writer for “The ONC”, an American based website for Oncology Health Professionals.
In addition to my extensive clinical experience, I have a broad academic background that includes 5 post graduate certificates, 1 post graduate diploma and a Masters in NP. I was a tutor/ lecturer at Deakin University and Latrobe University in Melbourne. In providing clinical and academic leadership, I hope to inspire many nurses towards the Nurse Practitioner role and Oncology Nursing in Regional Australia.
