Deidre has a clinical and research background in occupational therapy and palliative care. She is currently coordinating a study evaluating the utility of telehealth on delivery of palliative care services in SA. She is the founding chair of Allied Health Palliative Care Australia and member of an EAPC (European Association for Palliative Care) taskforce to evaluate the role of OT. Deidre has an active advisory role in CareSearch on Occupational Therapy in palliative care.
